| This picture was from Christmas Day. This was the point at which we decided naps were in order. The pants had come off. The "blow dryer" was being used inappropriately. The Rapunzel dress was tripping a certain young lady up. They had officially lost it. |
I woke up at 6AM this morning just knowing which picture I'd use today. I took it a few days ago and I'm in love with it and I was all ready. I ambled downstairs with my memory card in the pocket of my robe. I started my coffee and went to look for the thing that I need to plug into my computer to get the pictures off the memory card (that has a name, right?). I reach into my lovely Kelly Moore camera bag and it's nowhere to be found. I try to think about the last time I used it and I believe it's when I downloaded some Christmas pictures after our flight to Boston got canceled. That means that I haven't downloaded pictures since December 27th and that my "thing for getting pictures into my computer" is probably still in my Kindle case upstairs in my bedroom. That also means that I officially SUCK as a photographer and need to get back on the ball. Seriously...
I'll get better...I swear.

LOL! I love this picture! This kinda represents what was going on at my house but with adults!
I can't help but laugh. I need to remember to catch more moments like that. As frustrating as they are, we will laugh at how simple life was. Right?!
