February Photo-a-Day (day eleven)

So, I had this great plan...

I was going to go to the grocery store today to get things for tonight's dinner (beef and snow peas in case you're wondering).  I was going to stop by the flower area and take some pictures of my favorite flowers.  It was going to be perfect.  I was going to be so blog-responsible.

If I was lucky, I would also pick up one more present for tomorrow's birthday boy.

That didn't happen though.  I was on the couch recovering from The Sick.  It started snowing really hard.  Hailey woke up from her nap.  Husband texted to see if I wanted him to stop at the store instead.

I caved.

February's Photo-a-day (day ten...a bit late)

Sorry for my tardiness...The Sick invaded our house again.  Actually, just me, but I'm coming out on the other side again.

I loathe The Sick.

Anyway, the tenth day was all about the Book You Love and here's mine.

I am in love with this book.
I call it my Beach Book because it's the perfect beach read.
It brings you back to you.
The fact that it was written over 50 years ago and still pertains to a woman's life today makes me love it even more.
